The music on a whole was brilliantly picked and I don't think a single element was overlooked or addressed. The father and brother come off as these one-sided brutal characters in the beginning and then as you watch, they become two of the most well constructed and acted characters this year and for who knows how long. Jackie and Tony Elliot are both on the miners strike. about overcoming the unrecognised oppression that males face straight or gay. Instead of addressing the issue and putting it, as it were, to bed, the book revisits Billy’s fey potential from beginning to end, as though pouf is a hiccough that won’t go away.
